 2013June Trap pic

June Gloom gave us a break and we had a beautiful day for breaking clays. The PSC Trap League was held Saturday June 15, 2013. When the games began we were missing a few familiar faces. Some were participating at competition out of state and others enjoying watching – maybe we are missing some due to Father Day Weekend but the games began and a good time was had by all. This was a great day for Makeups and just having fun.

While Lane Frank and Kirk Thompson started the games Linda Rumsey kicked off Father’s Day weekend by donating donuts and peanuts with fruit to help celebrate. And the air was filled with 25’s. Danny Evans enjoyed three 25’s – one in League and two in makeups; Lane Frank and Mark Evans also enjoyed shooting a 25 each.

Lane and Danny tied with 49 in singles and went to the field for a shoot off. Lane showed that he had the right stuff and beat Danny by one clay. Shows that every Clay counts. The posted scores speak for themselves - We have winning teams at PSC.

Lane and Kirk joined in thanking everyone for participating in today’s Trap League and hope to see more members at the Trap Field. They join in encouraging everyone to come out and enjoy in the fun. Whether you are an accomplished shooter or just beginning you are more than welcome to join in the league and Wednesday practice. Trap success is based on participation from all club members. Come out and Break some clays the third Saturday of each month. Relieve the stress of every day living and Break clays with your PSC Friends.

Wishing you good shooting – keep your eyes on the Target, be safe and have fun.

Kirk Thompson and Lane Frank, Trap Committee
